What's the best way to report a hurtful incident? Is there anyone specifically you should report to?

I believe the school recommends going to your counselor first. If you trust and have a good relationship with yours, they could potentially be a valuable resource. My freshman year, I went to one of the counselors, but they were not effective and just made my experience feel invalidated. Depending on your situation, there is a safety reporting form on the LS website and peer mediation available (if you email us, I’d be happy to send along the link to the safety form and more info on mediation).
